Chris Kettler has been an avid outdoorsman and firearms enthusiast his entire life.

He enjoys the great outdoors and has a passion for training.  Firearms instruction is something he naturally gravitated to after retiring from a 25 year career in industrial skilled trades & management.  Having been an industrial safety instructor as well as training skilled trades apprentices for many years, he decided to couple his experience training with his passion for shooting.  He enjoys making training an enjoyable and educational experience for his students in an environment that is comfortable.  "Shooting is FUN & SAFE if you have the proper training".

Chris is active in the Conservation Community, serving on several boards of directors, and is a Realtor with City2Shore Real Estate.  To hone his skills he regularly participates in recreational shooting and club level shooting matches.  Trap/Skeet, IDPA, 3-Gun, Sporting Clays, Steel Challenge, IHMSA, 500 meter benchrest rifle, plus a few others when time permits.
